Margaret Tomlinson BA, LRAM, LGSM, FESB

 

Trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and then taught in primary and secondary schools before joining the Drama Department of Jordanhill College of Education, which then merged with the University of Strathclyde. There, her work included organising in-service courses in Scotland as well as in Hamburg and Zurich and for two years she worked for the British Council in Malawi and Zambia.

 

She was awarded the Page Scholarship by The English Speaking Union and the Educational Institute of Scotland to study educational practice in the USA which proved to be a very valuable experience. Margaret has been heavily involved in theatre for many years, as an actress, director and adjudicator. She has wide experience as an adjudicator in the UK, Ireland, Zimbabwe and many times in Hong Kong. At Present, Margaret, is a free lance consultant and works for various business and universities, providing courses in presentation skills.

 

Margaret is very pleased to have been invited to adjudicate, again, at the Inverclyde Music Festival
